On April 16, 2022 at 12:37 the Town of Berlin Fire Department responded to the 300 block of Carriage Dr for reported solar panels on the roof of a residence smoking. Car 11, first arriving officer on scene found smoke coming from the roof of a residential structure. Upon further investigation by fire crews, found leaves smoldering between the solar panel and roof. Crews extinguished the smolder leaves. No damage to the home. All fire units cleared.
