On December 9, 2022 at 1359 hrs the Town of Berlin Fire Departments were dispatched to Skinner Rd for a reported kitchen fire. Upon arrival of the first fire officer (Car 12) heavy smoke was coming from the front door of the residence. A working fire was transmitted. Further investigation found heavy fire in the kitchen area spreading to other areas of the home. Crew quickly extinguished the fire and performed overhaul to the fire area making sure all fire was extinguished. Fire crews were on scene for approximately 1 1/2 hours. The scene was turned over to the Town of Berlin Fire Marshals Office for investigation. No injuries were reported.

Taskforce 51 responded and covered the Town of Berlin during the incident.
