On May 10, members of the Manzi family presented the Berlin Fire Department with 2 LifePak 1000 AEDs. An AED can be used to attempt to restart a heart when a person suffers from a cardiac arrest event. These 2 units will be replacing older units and will be placed in service following training on them. This was made possible by a generous donation from The Joseph and Anthony Manzi Foundation. The Berlin Fire Departments would like to thank the Manzi’s for their continued support and generosity.
