On May 5, 2022 at 22:50hr Town of Berlin Fire Department Company 3 was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the area of 750 Berlin Turnpike. Dispatch notified responding units of a possible extrication. Car 68 arrived on scene confirming extrication and established Incident Command. Companies 1 & 2 were added to the assignment. 2 occupants were extricated from one vehicle. Life Star was called to the scene. Company 4 stood by at Company 2 and Newington Engine 2 stood by on scene covering the Town of Berlin until the incident was stabilized. Berlin Turnpike southbound is closed for the investigation at Woodlawn Rd by State DOT. Berlin Police Department is investigation the crash.
