Today Tac 11 was on hand to assist the the BHS Introduction to Fire Services class with a rope rescue demonstration.
Students got hands on with a very specialized aspect of the fire service, setting up rope based lowering and haul systems in a low angle environment.

The Intro to Fire Services Class is a great elective for students interested in pursuing a career as a first responder. The class is run by CFA instructors coordinating with the board of education. The towns fire companies assist with apparatus and equipment.
